I use the term “yoga based” oppose to Yoga,
to differentiate my offering from the eastern practice of Yoga or a specific lineage or style.

What Can You Expect?

Moderate level in speed and challenge with adequate cueing for a beginner, and options for the more experienced.

Flow. Poses transition and may repeat, working to a theme, pose or particular sequence.

Movement is mostly derived from Yoga, however Pilates, primal movement, mobility exercise or body weight exercise can all make an appearance if they contribute to the theme, peak pose or sequence.

Purpose. At the most basic level these classes offer a reasonable workout. Opportunity to develop body awareness and inner awareness is offered through cueing, questioning and sequencing.
